We are trusting gusty winds. Lets get a check of the weather with meteorologist mary lee. Wind gusts are up to 40 miles an hour in north bay mountains. Critical fire weather conditions and we are watching the winds take that turn out of the north and northeast. It is very dry air with that onshore flow. Red flag warnings are in effect for the north bay. Until 8 00 on wednesday, we are looking at low relative humidity values for the north bay mountains from 5 00 until 11 00 because of the possibility of downed trees and power lines and wind gusts up to 15 miles an hour in the north bay mountains. We have a red flag warning in effect now all the way until 8 00 on wednesday due to these a dry and gusty offshore winds. There is low relative humidity values for the north bay mountains and east bay hills and Santa Cruz Mountains today into tomorrow morning and we have a wind advisory that will be in effect for the north bay mountains for today, at a possible chance of downed trees and power lines. It will be hot but not quite as hot as yesterday. Were looking at mid 80s in San Francisco and low 90s in oakland and mid 90s in san jose and dealing with triple digit heat in concord. 103 for a high in concord and because of the extreme heat, still for inland locations, concord is opening up a cooling center at the Concord Senior Center from 1 00 until 6 00, to give some relief to people, so go out there if you need some safety from these hot temperatures. Temperatures are very close to that dew point and thats why the fog is to the north. Heres our visibility map. We are starting to see a little bit snaking around the bay but thats it just over the water. Not impacting visibility at all. We are doing just fine at 10 miles but over in santa rosa 1. 5 miles. Napa just improved now were at 8mile visibility so not bad. Wind speeds are calm by about 7 00 this morning well start to see those winds picking up especially in the napa area. So thats a look at our current conditions. Over at the bay bridge we have seen a lot of activity already for the start of your wednesday morning commute.
