Supermarket giant Woolworths is launching legal action against Mosman Council in a bid to win approval for its controversial $5.3 million proposal to open a boutique store on Military Road on Sydney s lower north shore.
In a sign the protracted battle between Mosman residents and the retailer is far from over, Woolworths says it will challenge a local planning panel s decision to reject its proposal in the NSW Land and Environment Court.
