Before Friday, the most new COVID-19 cases northern Manitoba had reported in one day was 57. That record was more than doubled Friday, as 136 new northern cases were reported by the province Dec. 11.
There are now more active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba than there are people in Flin Flon. The province announced another 383 net cases of the disease Tuesday, bringing the total number of active cases up to 5,390 province-wide.
