There are plans to introduce 20mph speed limits and other traffic calming measures in several roads in Harrow. The proposals for the new limits and speed cushions are outlined in a notice from Harrow Council published in this week’s Harrow Times. If the order is approved, the 20mph limits are set to be introduced in Astall Close; Baslow Close; Charlbury Avenue; Craigwell Close; Craigwell Drive; Derby Avenue; part of Du Cros Drive; Enderley Close; Enderley Road; Morrison Avenue; Pickwick Place; Roxborough Avenue; Roxborough Park; Sandymount Avenue; Sefton Avenue; Stanhope Avenue; Stox Mead; Weald Lane; Westfield Drive; Westfield Gardens. The speed cushions are planned for sections of the following roads: Charlbury Avenue; Craigwell Close; Craigwell Drive; Enderley Road; Merrion Avenue; Roxborough Avenue; Roxborough Park; Sandymount Avenue; Sefton Avenue; Stanhope Avenue; Weald Lane; Westfield Drive; Westfield Gardens.
A 23-year-old man was shot Friday evening and brought to the emergency room of St. Thomas More Hospital in Cañon City. He was then flown to a hospital in Colorado Springs, where his condition was last listed as critical.
The suspects in the shooting Orion Nolan, 43, and Susanna Daniels, 51 reportedly turned themselves in at the Fremont County Sheriff s Office on Sunday.
Requests by the Chieftain for additional information on the nature of the crime and the charges levied against Nolan and Daniels were not returned by the Fremont County Sheriff s Office by Monday afternoon.

Richard Beech A FAILED businessman become the sixth and final member of an organised crime ring operating in Bradford to be put behind bars this month. Richard Beech was jailed for five years for laundering £5 million of drugs money for the gang. He made frequent trips between his home in Manchester and West Yorkshire to collect and deliver large amounts of cash concealed in hidden compartments under the seats of his specially modified Range Rover. He was labelled the “cash converter and banker” for the organisation led by Rashid Ashraf (also known as Mohammed Rashid) who was jailed for 18 years.

Oak Branch Road, adjoining streets will be resurfaced through DOT grant
East Windsor has been awarded a $530,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT) Fiscal Year 2021 Municipal Aid Program for improvements to Oak Branch Road and its adjoining streets, Pineybranch Road, Pinehurst Drive and Warren Drive.
The $530,000 state grant includes milling and resurfacing as well as other associated improvements to concrete curbing, aprons, and storm water sewer inlet grates.
The project focuses on a neighborhood of local older streets providing frequent homeowner access and use, according to information provided by the township.
