BATON ROUGE, La. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Indoor Volleyball freshmen Khori Louis, Audrey Koenig and Emery Dupes each had strong debuts in leading the Seminoles (1-0) to a season-opening sweep over Northern Arizona, 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-16), on Friday at the Tiger Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
Middle blocker Louis powered a team-high 11 kills in 19 attacks, hitting .474 and adding two blocks in an impressive performance. Koenig, an outside hitter, added eight kills and hit .353 along with four digs.
Freshman libero Dupes led all players with 20 digs, helping keep the Lumber Jacks (0-1) contained as they hit just .026 (21 kills, 18 attack errors) in the match.
