“Standing up for freedom of choice,” said Tillsonburg participant Jessica Van Leeuwen.
“Farmers, people from all over Tillsonburg,” said Pettman. “Lots of ag equipment here, just showing our passion for being locked down for over 400 days now.”
“Freedom of choice,” nodded Van Leeuwen.
The cars, trucks, and tractors gathering in the parking lot at 400 Simcoe St., just east of Tillsonburg on the western edge of Norfolk County, also included visitors from out of town, including Aylmer.

Five people have been charged in connection to a planned anti-lockdown rally that was held at Tecumseh Park in Chatham last week.
Almost 300 maskless people gathered at the park on April 26 for a planned “No More Lockdowns Canada” gathering.
Chatham-Kent’s by-law enforcement announced charges under the Reopening Ontario Act on Friday. However, those charged have not been identified.
Municipal officials previously announced that one charge was laid following the protest.
