However, in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on April 10 after the Shawwal Moon was sighted there. Kerala and West Asia will also celebrate Eid on April 10. The tradition of moon sighting is deeply ingrained in Islamic culture, marking the conclusion of Ramadan and the start of the Shawwal month.
