Today’s the big day! If you’re on a diet and trying to get fit for summer, this is the cheat day you’ve been waiting for because your money’s going to a good cause. Culver’s is celebrating their “Scoops of Thanks” day, which started back in 2015 to support the younger generation of kids in agriculture.
The fundraiser is very easy. You go to Culver’s, donate one dollar to FFA, and then get a scoop of custard. Simple as that!
“Scoops of Thanks” is a fundraiser through Culver’s “Thank You Farmers” initiative to shine the spotlight on the people working hard to keep food on our tables and in Culver’s restaurants. So far the program has raised over $3 million to help the National FFA Organization, local FFA chapters, and other ag-based organizations.

ALPENA Today is Scoops of Thanks Day a day when Culver’s restaurants come together to give back to their local agricultural communities. The Alpena Culver’s will be participating in this program to help raise funds for the Alpena FFA.
For a $1 donation, you’ll receive a scoop of fresh frozen custard. Stick to your traditional favorites, like a single scoop of Vanilla or Chocolate Fresh Frozen Custard, or try the Thank You Farmers Project Flavor of the Day, Mooey Gooey Twist!
All proceeds from the $1 scoops will go back to the Alpena FFA chapter. FFA is a national organization that prepares students to become future agricultural leaders. Its mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Add Legends Smokehouse & Grill to the growing list of food trucks to grow into brick-and-mortar operations.
The popular and tasty Clarksville eatery on wheels now has a physical location: 803 S Riverside Drive, the former location of G’S Pancake House.
Owners Kevin and Yvette Smith got the keys Monday. These U.S. military veterans and Sango residents are now preparing for a grand opening in the coming months. This marks the first restaurant endeavor for the self-taught cooking couple.
Customers new and old and expect the same large menu at the restaurant, from smoked brisket, pulled pork and ribs to the Pork-n-Roll (a cinnamon roll topped with pulled pork and Legends Original BBQ Sauce) and Ooey Gooey (pulled pork, select cheeses, mac-n-cheese, and Legends Original BBQ sauce on Texas toast).

Chobani helped make Greek yogurt a household staple for millions of Americans. Now, the dairy giant is turning to the probiotics segment, which is already in high demand during the pandemic as shoppers seek out immunity-boosting offerings.
The company is rolling out this month Chobani Probiotic Cups in blueberry, vanilla, strawberry and peach flavors, and yogurt drinks in raspberry acai, blueberry pomegranate and passion orange guava. Chobani also is expanding in the kids space with Little Chobani Probiotics that will be available in pouches and drinks.
Chobani is no stranger to probiotics, but until recently hasn t done much to publicize its activity in the segment. Its popular Greek yogurts, which have been on the market since 2008, contain billions of probiotics per serving. Last summer, the company introduced plant-based drinks called Chobani Probiotics with flavors such as pineapple turmeric and peach mint. It also debuted Chobani Complete, a product line that co
