The warrant for the attempted murder charge says the victim and leons wife were in the back seat of the truck when the shots were fired; she was not injured. Leon is a local Restaurant Owner who had been linked to the federal indictment against former lexington county sheriff james metts. Leon avoided prison time, however he received one year probation and a heavy fine. Two families devastated with a husband and father in jail and a teenager shot and killed.
