[아이뉴스24 류한준 기자] KT 위즈 소형준(투수)이 2021 신한은행 SOL KBO 리그 6월 월간 최우수선수(MVP)에 이름을 올렸다. 한국야구위원회(KBO)는 소형준을 월간 MVP로 선정했다고 8일 밝혔다.
소형준은 프로 데뷔 2년 차에 개인 두 번째 월간 MVP를 받는다. 그는 기자단 투표 32표 중에서 11표(34.4％), 팬 투표 25만8241표 중 12만1857표(47.2％)를 각각 받았다. 총점 40.78점을 기록해 20.86점으로 2위에 오른 NC 다이노스 양의지(포수)를 제쳤다.
소형준은 6월 한 달 동안 4경기에 선발 등판해 평균자책점 0.75(부문 1위)를 기록했다. 승운이 따르지 않으면서 2승밖에 올리지 못했으나 KT는 소형준이 등판한 4경기에서 모두 이겼다. 소형준의 호투를 앞세워 KT는 6월에만 16승 7패를 기록해 KBO리그 선두로 치
