With winter settling in across the Miami Valley, the Montgomery County Veterans Services Commission is providing winter coats to local veterans in need. The coats will be distributed on January 15, in Dayton.

“We re looking to focus on those veterans that are absolutely in need, she says. Our veteran has to have an honorable or under honorable conditions discharge paperwork, which is a DD214. They must be a Montgomery County resident, since these are taxpayers dollars and they have to be at or below two hundred and fifty percent of the federal poverty level.
