The 2021 monsoon is on course to become the second-wettest monsoon ever in Delhi by the time it withdraws. The highest ever rainfall in Delhi was witnessed in 1933 when a total of 1,420.3 mm rainfall was recorded.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, Delhi rains are expected to continue for the next 2-3 days with varied intensity. These showers may see a complete break only around August 24. Rains may not be as heavy as today but the possibility of a few heavy spells on various occasions cannot be ruled out.
अनुमान है की अगले दो दिनों तक अच्छी बारिश की उम्मीद हैं, जो बारिश के आंकड़ों की कमी से उबरने में मदद कर सकती है। It is expected that good rains are expected for the next two days, which can help in overcoming the lack of rain data.
After August 15 or 16, axis of monsoon trough will once again start travelling South leading to commencement of rain over in northern plains as well as parts of Central India. During break monsoon period rain will be heavy over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, foothills of Uttar Pradesh, and adjoining northern parts of Punjab and Haryana.
