⢠Exhibit opens
The Key West Art & Historical Society will open its latest exhibition, âUnder Construction: Glass Plate Negatives of A.V. Rabenau,â a display of vintage photographs at the Custom House Museum, 281 Front St. The exhibit features black and white prints from the original glass plate negatives taken by A.V. Rabenau, an itinerant photographer, and will open at 5 p.m. Friday, April 30. Social distancing and masks will be required.
Tompkins County Public Libraryâs Director Search Committee has announced Adam Traub and Matthew Bollerman as the final candidates in a five-month search for a successor to retiring director Annette Birdsall. The public is invited to get to know Traub and Bollerman during public Zoom webinar presentations on May 3 and May 6 that will include audience Q&A.
âThese are two very strong candidates for a position of great importance in our community,â says Search Committee Chair Blixy Taetzsch, who also serves as Secretary of the Libraryâs Board of Trustees. âWe encourage the public to attend these webinars to hear from the candidates directly and to ask questions.
