Santa Monica Public Library Presents “Spin Me a Shadow, Tell Me a Tale” Jul. 06, 2021 at 1:00 pm Santa Monica Public Library is excited to announce a virtual family-friendly summer reading show, “Spin Me a Shadow, Tell Me a Tale,” on Monday, July 12, at 2:30 pm. Daniel Barash of Firelight Shadow Theater will introduce participants to the art of shadow puppetry, and then help them create puppets to adapt versions of well-loved tales to the shadow screen. Participants can pick up materials to make a shadow puppet stage and puppets from the Main Library, Pico Library Curbside or Montana Library Curbside starting July 6.
