I became more conservative over time before becoming a republican joining breitbart and so forth. Even then i have an empathy for the utopian thinking that left does. Im not a utopian myself but i do think that Many Democrats and they went to make the world better and what struck me about the direction of the Democratic Party is it is taking the party in such an extreme direction it risks falling over the cliff pulling the rest of the country with us.
