Mondayâs featured event was the Monday Morning Cruisers Ride that departed at 9 a.m., meeting at Verburg Parkâs north entrance in Kalamazoo.
This ride was a recreational-paced event on the Kalamazoo Valley River Trail, and is only one of many planned for the week.
âWeâre happy to say that this year, many of Bike Weekâs featured events and activities can be enjoyed out of doors while being mindful of public health considerations or can be accessed online,â event co-chair Paul Runnels said in a written statement. âIn addition, this year we are underscoring the need for bicyclists and motorists to drive and bike safely – for everyone to follow the rules of the road.â
