Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bombay’s Monash Research Academy has collaborated with Michelin India Technology Centre in Pune for next-generation sustainable mobility research. With this partnership, several projects for the next five years will be envisaged for development in the Mobility space in India.
It will bring Michelin’s global Research and Development DNA and involve doctoral students (Ph.D.) from IIT Bombay - Monash Research Academy encompassing a wide range of themes such as advanced computational engineering, materials, simulation and manufacture, Infrastructure engineering, clean energy water, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and stem cell research.

The tie up with IITB-Monash Academy will enhance mutual development and stimulate stronger collaboration for sustainable mobility.
The partnership will be for a tenure of 5 years with several projects envisaged for development in the Mobility space in India, the tyre maker noted.
New Delhi: French tyre major Michelin on Tuesday said it has joined hands with IIT Bombay-Monash Research Academy for next generation sustainable mobility research. Pune-based Michelin India Technology Centre and IIT Bombay - Monash Research Academy have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard.
