Roadshow, lunch with folk singer, Visva Bharati visit: Check Amit Shah’s second day schedule in Wes
In a bid to strengthen Bharatiya Janata Party s (BJP) campaign ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Kolkata at around 1 am on Saturday for his two-day visit to the state. On Sunday, Shah commenced the second day of his two-day visit to West Bengal. Shah first visited Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan, where he paid homage to Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore on the university campus.Â
Shah later held a roadshow in Bolpur town in Birbhum district. Huge cutouts of Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP leaders Mukul Roy and others were put in Bolpur-Santiniketan Road where Shah participated in a roadshow.Â

Birbhum (West Bengal) [India], December 20 (ANI): Union Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday attended a cultural programme at Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan, Birbhum. He is on a two-day visit to West Bengal, which will conclude today.
The Union Home Minister also paid floral tributes to Rabindranath Tagore at Rabindra-Bhavana, Shantiniketan, Birbhum, earlier today.
A group of students performed the cultural dances during the event.
The Union Minister is also scheduled to visit Shyambati in Birbhum, where he will have lunch with the family of a Baul singer. Later he will hold a roadshow in Bolpur from hanuman mandir on Stadium Road to Bolpur Circle.

As West Bengal is scheduled to go to polls next year, Union minister and BJP leader Amit Shah is on a visit to the state. On Sunday, Shah commenced the second day of his two-day visit to West Bengal. He visited the Vishwa Bharti University at Shantiniketan in the Birbhum district and paid tribute to Rabindranath Tagore.
The home minister later visited Shyambati in Birbhum, where he had lunch with the family of a Baul singer. He held a roadshow in Bolpur from Hanuman mandir on Stadium Road to Bolpur Circle. Shah is expected to conclude the visit with a press conference at Mohor Kutir in Birbhum.
