The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has disclosed that it would soon start the procurement process towards the award of contract for the shore protection and erosion control of the Odi community shoreline in Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Council of Bayelsa State.
Speaking at a reception, after inspecting the erosion ravaged part of Odi, the NDDC Managing Director, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, stated that the Commission would not relent in its drive to provide basic infrastructure in communities across the Niger Delta region.
According to a source, the meeting is called to take big decisions ahead of Budget 2023 which is also the last full-fledged budget session of Modi govt 2.0.
