Sequel planned for movie Happiness is a Four-letter Word

Happiness is a Four-letter Word will have a sequel. There is also no official release date as yet for the sequel. IMPORANT ACHIEVEMENT FOR ‘HAPPINESS IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD’ Happiness is a Four Letter Word grossed more than R14-million, making it the highest grossing romantic drama by a black director in South Africa yet. The film made more than R2-million in its opening weekend alone. The film is based on a novel with the same name by Cynthia Jele.

Tributes pour in for Safta-award winner Lindiwe Ndlovu Fans and members of the performing arts industry have been paying tribute to South African actress Lindiwe Ndlovu who has died at the age of 44. The television and movie star became a household favorite for her performances in various local TV productions including Mzansi Magic s hit series Lockdown and drama Ifalakhe. She was also no stranger to the big-screen and had roles in Safari (2013) and Winnie Mandela (2011) starring Jennifer Hudson and Terrance Howard. In 2013, US actor Samuel L.Jackson presented Ndlovu with the SAFTA award for best actress in a feature film for her role in Little One .

This comes after her agency shared that the talented actress, best known for her character as nuthead jailbird Patjutju on Uzalo, had died. Gaenor Artiste Management said: “It is with heavy hearts and unimaginable sadness that we bring you the news of Lindiwe Thembekani Ndlovu’s passing in her home.” Lindiwe died on Monday morning, 11 January. Friends, fans and colleagues have shared their condolences. Actress Florence Masebe paid her respects and said this is an immense loss to the acting industry. “A fine master of her craft, an excellent actor. This loss is immense. Siyabonga. Lala ngoxolo, Sisi,” she wrote.

In a statement, released by her agency, Gaenor Artiste Management, the multi-award-winning actress died at her home on Monday, January 11. “It is with heavy hearts and unimaginable sadness that we bring you the news of Lindiwe Thembekani Ndlovu passing in her home this morning 11th January. Her bright, large burning light has gone out and we are devastated to bring you this sad news,” read the statement.
