In a news release, MLGW asked customers to avoid non-essential water use until further noticed and to cease from dripping their faucets between 1-5 p.m. Thursday.
In an effort to support residents of Shelby County who still have issues with the water coming from their tap, there are still bottled water distributions happening across the area.
