Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said it is not possible for the police to protect every person in a state and appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony.
The Chief Minister also said that 116 people have been arrested in connection with violence in Nuh. "They will be taken on remand and questioned," he said, adding that the rest of the culprits will also be nabbed soon and no one will be spared.
Four people were killed and several others injured in Nuh following violence that erupted over an attempt to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession on Monday.

Senior party leader Ashok Tanwar said AAP enrolled 35,654 new members in Mr Khattar's Karnal assembly segment and it was the maximum for any Vidhan Sabha segment in the state.
