An Early Morning fire caused frantic moments in a twin peaks neighborhood of San Francisco. We are looking at live pictures there as firefighters were not only working on that and cleaning up some of the mess this morning. The fire started inside a retail store on Mission Street between 22nd and 23rd streets. At least four people were treated for smoke inhalation. Katie marzullo is live at the scene. The smell of smoke still very strong out here. Its that building with the yellow facade, can you see the hole in the middle, firefighters blew that open with their hoses to try to get fire on scene. Sky 7 hd was overhead when this fire was raging this afternoon, can you see the dark heavy smoke and flames at times too. The fire erupted at 1 00, just after 1uk 00, it got big very quickly. The top two floors were all storage and there was so much stuff in there they could not get into those areas, they pulled everyone out and then they were able to breakthrough some windows that had bars on them, and thats when flames shot through the roof.
