Canyon Country Rape Suspect Arrested After Sexual Assault
A Canyon Country rape suspect was arrested Friday after a months-long investigation, officials said.
On Nov. 8, a female adult victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted on Sunday, November 8, by an acquaintance, at a residence located in the 26000 block of Purple Mountain Court in Canyon Country, according to Sgt. Brian Hudson, with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau.
“Over the course of following months, the suspect was positively identified by detectives,” Hudson said in an email.
The suspect, Mitchell Spencer, 27, of Canyon Country was arrested on Jan. 8, according to arrest records.
