Two more townships in Douglas County will be moving their elections to November. LaGrand and Osakis will now join the townships of Brandon, Carlos and Miltona in hosting elections in November instead of March.
And although voter turnout was sleepy in most districts, Millerville Township saw record breaking numbers, according to Marilyn Bitzan, Millerville Township clerk.
“It’s the largest we can remember seeing,” she said. “We had an excellent turnout (for a township election).”
