Designs for the new Spring Hill Police headquarters, which will be located at Kingsley Place behind Kroger on Port Royal Road, were presented this week to city leaders.
The Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted this week to begin preliminary work on revitalizing the city s historic "Old Town" district along Main Street.

At least two new projects could be added to the Spring Hill Neighborhood Sidewalk and Greenway Plan as part of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen s upcoming 2021-2022 fiscal budget.
Spring Hill Senior Project Manager Missy Stahl presented the proposed projects on Monday during BOMA s non-voting work session. The projects include pathways to be installed at the Winter Park and Spring Meadow subdivisions, which would cost approximately $158,900.
The projects are also staff-identified items, meaning the funding wouldn t require any additional revenue spending from the neighborhoods Home Owners Association. Although the final numbers slightly exceed the city s $150,000 sidewalk project budget, Stahl said the city s Transportation Advisory Committee recommends it be increased to cover the full $158,900 amount.
