Adline Castelino, the 22-year-old Indian model from India emerged as the third runner up at the 69th edition of Miss Universe 2020, held in the US. It has taken India 20 years since Lara Dutta won the title, to gain a position in the competition which saw 74 participants from across the globe.

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo has nothing but good words for co-candidate Amanda Obdam of Thailand.
In an interview with Olivia Quido-Co, the Filipina beauty queen shared the story behind a viral video of her and Amanda hugging, walking on stage hand in hand.
According to Rabiya, she comforted Amanda after the pageant, as she knows the heavy feeling of not making your country proud.
“Maybe because kami yung dalawang candidate na na-pressure talaga coming from pageant-loving countries. Alam niya (Amanda), alam ko din kung how hard it is to please everybody around you, to please the fans,” she said.

Andrea Meza from Mexico on Monday (May 17) won the title of Miss Universe 2021. Brazil s Julia Gama was named the first runner up while Janick Maceta from Peru was the second runner up at the pageant. India s Adline Castelino, who earlier won the LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2020 title, emerged as the 3rd runner up at the 69th edition of the Miss Universe contest.

After bagging fourth place at the Miss Universe 2020 competition, Miss India Adline Castelino headed back to Mumbai. The beauty queen was snapped at the airport on Tuesday evening. While exiting from the airport, Adline donned a stylish look and waved the Indian National flag. She proudly and happily posed for the shutterbugs after representing India at the beauty pageant. Adline became the third runner up after competing with 74 beautiful women around the world.
