From The Tribune staff reports
GILBERT, Ariz. Cassidy Jo Jacks, an Alabama native, was crowned Miss Arizona USA on Sunday, June 11, 2021.
Jacks, who is originally from Springville, once served as Miss Trussville. She said that experience helped prepare her for much more than pageants.
“I’ve used the skills that I have learned in all aspects of my life,” Jacks told The Tribune before the pageant. “It molded me into the confident, caring, and driven woman that I am today. Everything I learned during my year as Miss Trussville has prepared me for this moment!”
When serving as Miss Trussville 2016, Jacks was second-runner up in the Miss Alabama competition and she placed first in the talent portion of the competition. Her community service also helped her to place as first-runner up for the Miss Alabama Community Service Award.
