Former Miss Trussville competing in Miss Arizona USA

GILBERT, Ariz. — Cassidy Jo Jacks, an Alabama native, is competing in the Miss Arizona USA competition.
Jacks, who is originally from Springville, once served as Miss Trussville. She said that experience helped prepare her for much more than pageants.
“I’ve used the skills that I have learned in all aspects of my life,” said Jacks. “It molded me into the confident, caring, and driven woman that I am today. Everything I learned during my year as Miss Trussville has prepared me for this moment!”
The Miss Arizona USA pageant will conclude on Sunday, June 11.
“I am thrilled to be back on stage competing for the title of Miss Arizona USA this weekend,” she said. “It would be an honor to represent the state I now call home.”
