JAMMU, Mar 16: Former Minister, Ex- MPs and DDC member today called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhavan.
Former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga met the Lt Governor and congratulated him for the New Industrial Development Scheme. He discussed in detail about various prospects of developing industries in Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, former Members of Parliament, Mir Mohammad Fayaz and Nazir Ahmed Laway also met the Lt Governor and projected various issues of Public importance of Kulgam and Kupwara pertaining to upgradation of Healthcare services, strengthening of road network, augmentation of water and power supply besides other issues.

New Delhi, Feb 13 : The Rajya Sabha during first half of the Budget Session had 99 per cent productivity for the two weeks till the House was adjourned at the end of the session on February 12. I am happy to inform you that this part of the session has been quite productive with the House clocking 99 per cent productivity, Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu said before adjourning the proceedings till March 8. The productivity of the House during this week has been 113 per cent compared to the productivity of 82 per cent during the first week as against the total scheduled time of 45 hours 4 minutes, net of only 30 minutes has been lost due to disruptions. The members sat extra to compensate the time lost to disruptions.
