CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Burton Fire District says they responded to two house fires and one displaced a resident.
Firefighters say they and Beaufort County EMS responded to a report of a kitchen fire just before noon Wednesday in the Mint Point community.
Firefighters arrived on-scene to smoke coming from the home, and they say they were able to extinguish the fire using extinguishers from their truck.
