Officials say it will be ready in the spring of 2022 and will include “full-service retail and house local delivery service to the Lake Street community.”
The Minnehaha Post Office in south Minneapolis was also destroyed in the civil unrest following the death of George Floyd. The Postal Service is in the process of rebuilding that location. ); } return false; }); $( #comments .commentlist .comment-content a ).attr( target , blank );

The U.S. Post Office Services announced Thursday that it will rebuild the Minnehaha Post Office at its same location, 3033 27th Ave. S., where it has been since 1970.

The USPS says it s not providing a construction timeline for when the Minnehaha facility will be rebuilt, but when it s done, it will provide a full-service retail and house local mail delivery operations.
