Kurdish forces in syria say theyve pulled out of a key strategic town in the north east after a temporary truce put an end to fierce fighting. Turkey says its attempting to create a 20 mile safe zone in areas of kurdish control, after President Trump pulled us troops out of the area. Kurdish fighters are now reported to have left ras al ain, on the syrian side of the border, along with huge numbers of fleeing civilians. They are being asked to approve it and vote on it in the coming days. If mps approve it, brexit on 31st of october becomes much more likely. Not certain, because it has to be ratified by the European Parliament as well. But, and its a big but, we dont know if parliament will support it whenever the vote happens. We dont know if parliament will resist the very tight timetable its been given. And we also dont know if parliament will support amendments that would effectively wreck the deal.
