The ministerial council meeting of the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will be held virtually on 31 Mayâ1 June 2021. The meeting will focus on the economic recovery after the coronavirus pandemic and the future priorities of the OECD.
The meeting will also celebrate the 15-year work of the outgoing Secretary-General Angel GurrÃa and welcome his successor

Finland will intensify its long-term efforts to promote the economy of wellbeing nationally. At the same time, Finland will continue its close cooperation with international organisations and networks in promoting the economy of wellbeing globally.
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has appointed a steering group on the economy of wellbeing that will sit until the end of the present Governmentâs term. Its task is to develop the economy of wellbeing as a tool of decision-making and policy measures, both nationally and internationally.

By the end of this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will draw up a comprehensive climate plan concerning agriculture, forestry and the land use sector that will be part of the planning system of the new Climate Change Act. The proposal for the plan will be prepared by an inter-administrative working group composed of public officials, appointed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on 16 February 2021.The Government is to approve the report on the climate plan in early 2022.
