An MCD school principal, on condition of anonymity, mentioned that they had been taking online classes for the past couple of days last week and have shut physical classes for students up to class 5 until further instructions from the government.
The NCF for school education states that students in Classes 10 and 12 will be allowed to take board examinations on at least two occasions during the school year, with only the best score being retained.
The DoE has invited suggestions in this regard from various stakeholders, including teachers, parents, students, school management committees, educational institutions, school associations, professionals, subject experts, scholars and general public to make the process “inclusive and participative”.
