Tacoma, washington officer is dead after being shot multiple times. And a standoff is still taking place with the suspect early this morning. Angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. The officer was responding to a Domestic Violence call last night when he was shot. The scene remains an active situation. And the neighborhood remains on lockdown. Police believe the shooter is still barricaded in a home. Several people including children were able to get out of the house following the shoo last night a procession of Law Enforcement officers escorted the officers body from the hospital to the medical examiners office. The officer has not been identified. We do know he was 45years old and was a 17year veteran of the Tacoma Police force. Wisconsins statewide president ial recount begins at 9 this morning. The final decision will be made this morning by the board of canvassers, the county Election Commission recommends the recount be done by machine. 14 counties will use optical scanners for the recount. Including waukesha and sheboygan counties 48 counties will recount the vote by hand. Including ozaukee, jefferson and kenosha counties. 10 will use both like walworth county.
