Custody and susan tran is in somerville with how the victim is doing tonight. Reporter that victim is expected to survive but the two teens face a host of charges. Police say not only were they in a stolen car, but they raced off trying to avoid police and in doing so, they hit that man and seriously hurt him. I happened to be looking outside and all of a sudden, there were cars everywhere. Reporter the driver in this white jeep made an eratic turn, investigators saying trying to avoid police slamming into the curb, hitting a man walking along the median and even if both air bags went off, police say the two teens inside jumped out and ran off. A lot of noise. I saw many police, maybe seven cars, maybe nine. Reporter Mass State Police say it started on mystic avenue friday afternoon.
