ARRESTS A 26-year-old woman was arrested at 11:28 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop at Highway 210 and Cypress Drive.
A 60-year-old woman was arrested at 7:33 p.m. Saturday for DWI during a traffic stop at Excelsior Road and Golf Course Drive.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at 6:09 p.m. Feb. 26 for DWI following a suspicious vehicle on the 5600 block of Fairview Road.
THEFT Report at 7:13 p.m. Saturday of a female who ran out of the Westgate Mall, 14136 Baxter Drive, with an arm full of clothing. Officers located the vehicle at Walmart and recovered the stolen merchandise. Police are preparing paperwork for shoplifting charges against a 40-year-old woman to forward to the city prosecutor’s office.
Suspicious vehicle reported that was a newspaper delivery driver is among the police calls reported this week.

DISTURBANCES Report at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, of a person swearing at an employee at Costco, 13650 Elder Drive. Officers located the person near T.J. Maxx and they stated they were unable to make the bus to Minneapolis. Officer gave the person a ride to AmericInn by Wyndham to catch the bus the next day.
SUSPICIOUS Report at 10 a.m. Wednesday the complainant heard someone cough inside her house on the 4800 block of Circle Pines Road. Officers checked the basement and it was clear.

DISTURBANCES Report at 4:19 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, of an intoxicated person bothering staff and guests at Holiday Inn Express, 15739 Audubon Way. Officers learned the person drank a bottle of hand sanitizer and was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd to be evaluated and detoxed.
SUSPICIOUS Report at 3:16 p.m. Saturday of a person on a bike on the 6800 block of Foley Road. Person was the renter and was retrieving items.
Report at 12:18 p.m. Saturday of a male dressed in all black lying in the ditch near Highway 371 and Wise Road. Officers were unable to locate him.
