Orange County Deputy County Clerk Kelly Eskew and her team safeguard the military discharge papers and DD214 forms for thousands of Orange County veterans dating all the way back to World War I. It documents their service in the military, whatever branch of service they were in, and it entitles them to benefits, so it s proof they served, said Eskew.
The county wants veterans to know that they can file their DD214 forms with the county clerk’s office for free. They can also access certified copies of the form from the clerk s office at no cost.
