They have identified the victim as delphic mclain. She was hit by a stray bullet and the hunt is on for the three vehicles involved. The Wake County Sheriffs Office was called to 4629 arrowhead drive in apex after 6 pm friday evening. When they arrived they found a 56yearold woman who had been shot the sheriff told us she was not the intended target. Angela lyons called the victim a close friend and neighbor its crazy. Reporter lyons another neighbors tell they heard some kind of altercation several vehicles were parked in the driveway. And then they heard the gunshots. I was scared. Too scared because my kids are playing outside. I went lines explain the victim was visiting a neighbor and the bullets came through the siding of the home. Reporter she does down and it hit her.
