JACKSON, Tenn. Area Relief Ministries and United Way of West Tennessee are working together to help vaccinate the homeless community.
“We got a call from the health department that said they would like to reach out to the homeless, and I contacted the United Way because they can contact all of the nonprofits that work with homeless and under-served,” Area Relief Ministries Executive Director Mike Roby said.
“With all of our partnerships, we have a huge database between all of those agencies. We’re all attached to each other through social media, so we can share, share, share and get the word out to the people that need it the most,” said Pat Ross, senior resource director for United Way of West Tennessee.
