Police say this involves a suspect in a high profile murder last week. Reporter that is correct, ama. Police wanted a man for shooting and killing another man in an Office Building. Police say he was preparing to kill again when pulling out a gun and he aimed it at Police Officers. Officerinvolved shootings go through a lengthy process. One sunday night, number seven for the year. We have dangerous felons like this one, and he didnt comply with officers commands, and attempted to go for a gun. Using it on the officers. Reporter police say the suspect was wanted for a homicide in an Office Building last week. Police are not identifying the suspect or officers involved. Recovered a van that plunged into a bayou with a family of six inside. The Sheriffs Office tweeting that picture within the last hour saying theyve uncovered two bodies, man and woman. This morning, the Tropical Storm is slamming louisiana and battering parts of eastern texas. At least 20 people now confirmed dead following days of epic flooding. One of them was also trapped inside what they call a ditch witch. Thats one of those machines they use to dig the tunnel the trenches to lay cables. He was trapped inside his vehicle because of the danger of further shock if he got out of that vehicle incorrectly. As you know, and there is a live wire on the ground energized, there is electrical electromagnetic fields which radiates from where the power is emanating. They are starting to lift the tape so they have apparently neutralized the power source, turning off the power so the shock is no longer a viable possibility. First we start with Jessica Castro live in santa rosa. We just got this update from Sonoma County officials. Reporter reggie and the update is jaw dropping. It is a Staggering Number of people that are currently missing right now. The Sonoma County Sheriffs Department says they have reports of 670 people they have been able to locate 110 of those. They are hoping that bad Cell Phone Service here in this area is to blame. There are 73 cell phone towers down in the state of california. They have assembled a 30member missing persons team. The Sheriffs Department says that this is still a lifesaving operation and they are telling everyone living in Sonoma County if you do not have to be here, go now. Well, it is a remote area, and the roads up here are thats the thing. When you hear about evacuations up here, the biggest concern is that there are a lot of, like, onelane roads up here, and a lot of Construction Since the flooding of last year, and there were a lot of mud slides and if you are driving in the Santa Cruz Mountains, you will be dealing with construction, and thats when a lot of construction crews are working. So that could be a big concern. So with evacuations kind of i think all on our minds with everything that happened up there in the north bay, those are such extreme conditions, but up here in the middle of the night, thats a concern because people with sleeping.
