Well, the idea is that we move evolutionarily through different stages and at the moment we do not hunt and gather. We go to supermarkets for our food. But much of our history was spent in that hunter gatherer phase, and we carry many of the adaptation that were built in that environment into the present. But thats true of all the other environments that weve been through as well.
