Dozens of performers drawing tens of thousands of people to Golden Gate Park along with noise, trash and traffic. Muni is doing its best to move thousands of people out of Golden Gate Park. So far so, good. Weve seen dozens of crowded buses moving away from the park, taking concert goers home. The concert is a lot of fun. But keeping things orderly outside takes a lot of work. A different kind of show is happening outside Golden Gate Park during the outside lands concert in San Francisco. While tens of thousands of people party at the event, city workers are whistling and waving, trying to keep things moving. Theyre blocking the driveway. Reporter parking control officers are responding to complaints and issuing tickets. People who live near the event say they appreciate the enforcement. Reporter Danielle Meitiv has changed nothing despite a ruling from Child Protective Services citing her and her husband with unsubstantiated neglect. I think at first it was kind of shock and numb. Then as it sunk in it was really upsetting. I turned to my husband and i said i cant believe they really thought we did something wrong. And frankly i started to cry. Reporter the meitivs allowed their children to walk neighborhood streets and to the local park together but with no adult supervision. Theres no neglect anywhere here. And the fact they couldnt say oh, nothing to see here folks everything is fine, and instead theres some judgment in a file somewhere that were negligent parents. Reporter its a style of parenting they call free range and essential for raising independent children. Learning to take little risks like the risk of Walking Around the block without an adult is just part of natural child developments. And i absolutely disagree that my kids are too young to do it. Tom roussey is long with the investigation. Tom we are learning a lot more about the suspect who was arrested tonight, allison. It has been two months since his body was found on a room in a room on the fourth floor of the donovan hotel. It was february 12 his body was found. He had been stabbed to death. 21yearold Jamyra Gallmon of southeast washington has been arrested and charged with firstdegree felony murder while armed. While she most recently learned in southeast she used to play basketball for forceful high school. One person is in custody this morning after being involved in a hitandrun crash in San Francisco. The crash happened just after 11 30 last night. Police say two cars collided head on. Again, one person was taken into custody for a possible dui. No word on any injury. The Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in richmond. It happened at the johnramp to solano avenue just before 1 00 friday. One vehicle possibly drove away from the crash scene. Happening now the san mateo bridge is closed for the entire weekend.
