Sheriff Mike Murphy told the Livingston County Public Safety and Infrastructure and Development Committee on Monday that one of the things the Office has been looking for in his time there has been a property that could be utilized for a variety of purposes, including K9, drone, and search and rescue training as well as a gun range. Not wanting to run into public outcry, Murphy said they went and talked to neighbors about it and the biggest issues were with people realizing they may lose trails and hunting property that they were technically trespassing on.
