Former Mountaineer Darris Nichols gears up for his first season as head coach at Radford By

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. It has been close to two months since Radford University named former West Virginia guard Darris Nichols as their eighth men’s basketball coach in program history.
Nichols spent the last six seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Florida (2015-2021), working for head coach Mike White on the sidelines. Nichols will be replacing Mike Jones at Radford. Jones spent ten seasons as the Highlanders head coach.

To get ready for the album’s arrival, Cole has been doing limited press but decided to make an appearance on Power 106’s
L.A. Leakers show earlier this week. During their conversation, Cole fired off two freestyles one over Souls of Mischief’s 1993 classic “93 Til Infinity” and another on top of Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin.”

Friday, May 7 , the rapper released his single interlude. In a twitter post he said
“Told myself I would drop the album all at once. Sometimes you gotta say fuck it tho. New song tonight. 12 o’clock. “i n t e r l u d e” from The Off-Season.”
J. Cole made waves throughout the Hip Hop culture with his return to the freestyle booth. Cole popped up on
The LA Leakers on Wednesday (May 12) and like many fans, even Jermaine Dupri was impressed with his fellow North Carolina native’s lyrical precision.
“Hardest shit out the South since slavery, n-gga,” Cole raps to close out the first verse over the silky “93 ‘Til Infinity” instrumental before switching over to Mike Jones’ “Still Tippin.”
“N-gga say the hardest thing out the south since slavery,” JD said in disbelief shortly after the freestyle dropped.
