Fancy brigades lets go outside we want to show you the traffic earlier today as things were gearing up. Real mess here as the barriers started going up. Parking restrictions started taking place from city hall where the parade will begin continuing down all the way to broad street. Fancy brigades will be performing both indoors and outdoors. Right now, all of the 12 brigades as i mentioned going through a practice without their costumes. In fact were even being told some of the costumes are still being made right now with, what, 39 hours to go before the parade starts. This year all the theme has to be approved by the city. Members had to undergo sensitivity training after a few isolated incidents last year. It has been a long year of preparations and for lots of folks this is a family traditi tradition. I love it.
