If its not raining where you live its because this is going north to south. This is a cold front different than what we have been experiencing for the past several days with the Atmospheric River. We are still keeping a watchful eye on the Russian River in guerneville. We are anticipating a second crest this morning at this time. We have a Flood Warning in effect for the bay area coastline as this next storm coincides with high tide about 9 43 a. M. And roughly near 7 feet. There will be some flooding along the embarcadero. Again, were starting off with the flood watch and then it will be the warning by that huge highlighted yellow area. The winds will kick up out of the south 15 to 30, gusts to 45 in the highest elevations, in the mount diablo area some gusts up to 60 miles per hour. That huge area is where we have a flood watch in effect today due to the rain coinciding with high tide at 9 43 just highof seven feet just shy of seven feet. This is the north bay, coastline and Santa Cruz Mountains. With the approaching cold front winds will increase out of the south to 30 Miles Per Hour gusts to 45. In the highest elevations around the bay area, 60mile perhour winds cannot be ruled out there. Will be more downed trees. We do have few light sprinkles on the camera. Its balmy. These would be afternoon highs. 50s and 60s. It is 62 degrees in oakland and redwood city. Winds 16 in san francisco, 17 Half Moon Bay. Lighter winds east of the bay. 15 in fremont. Move. She didnt know where it was coming from, rumbling noise and then it slammed against the house and she fell and then the front door just buckled. Reporter she had to escape through a bathroom window. Heres another big mudslide that stalled in the middle of a hill on via la cumbre. Work crews removed debris and covered it with a giant tarp. They are hoping it will remain stable through the next storm because there are homes just below it so a tenuous situation as we wait for the next round of rain.
