There is so much to look forward to in the Biden administration. Competent leadership. An action plan to fight the pandemic. No more unhinged tweets. And amid the restoration of some sense of normalcy, we can also finally FINALLY bid farewell to the Trump family. No more chinless sons, no more “architecting,” no more frantic grifting (at least none sanctioned by the White House). And at long last, no more Ivanka Trump.
Trump’s daughter-wife, who held a nebulous position as “senior adviser” to the president, spent her deeply unqualified tenure enriching herself and supporting her father’s hideous racist policies. The media’s labeling of Ivanka and Jared Kushner as mediating forces against Trump’s more unhinged tendencies was merely a mirage, and they worked in lockstep to design and enforce every atrocity enacted by their venal paterfamilias.

This past Sunday, CNN’s Jake Tapper explained why he doesn’t invite White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and some other certain members of Donald Trump’s cabinet onto his shows: because they’re lying liars who “tell lies the way most people breathe.”
Tapper was speaking with his colleague Brian Stelter about how difficult it’s been for the media to cover the Trump administration, and how many journalists never found a way over the last four years to combat the lies coming out of that presidential propaganda machine. Tapper says his solution was just not to let the biggest liars on air.

On Saturday morning the President took to Twitter, taking aim at William Barr, the attorney general and calling him a big disappointment and still claiming that he won the election in a landslide but for fake votes. Trump even called Barr one of his biggest allies since taking over as the attorney general of the Supreme Court, but a big disappointment.
