JEFFERSON Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District, in partnership with the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), is hosting a Forestry Walk and Talk on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at Midcoast Conservancy’s Hidden Valley Nature Center, in Jefferson.
We will discuss forest, water, and wildlife habitat best practices. Technical and financial assistance to implement these practices will be reviewed while walking the property.
